A crash in western Atlantic County took down a utility pole and closed a stretch of a busy road, officials said. Township of Hamilton police said Black Horse Pike was closed near the intersection with High Bank Road on Wednesday, Apr. 3, the department said in a Facebook post. A Canadian woman was killed after her SUV crashed into a concrete mixer truck in Monmouth County, authorities said. Howell Township police responded to Route 33 near the intersection of West Renaissance Boulevard at around 10:28 a.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 2, the department said in a news release. A serious crash shut down both directions of a road in Monmouth County for several hours, officials said. Howell Township police said Route 33 was closed between Yellow Brook Road and Route 34 on Tuesday, Apr. 2 for a "serious crash investigation," the department said in a Facebook post. A 69-year-old driver from Somers Point was injured after his car rear-ended a box truck in Camden County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 12:15 p.m. on Monday, March 18 on Route 73 northbound near Davis Avenue in Winslow Township, Winslow police said. Ronald Kollman, the car's driver, was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment, police said. Police did not say how seriously Kollman was hurt. No other injuries were reported.

A tractor-trailer crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike near Interstate 195 in Mercer County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 11 a.m. on Monday, March 11 on the outer roadway southbound near Interchange 7A in Robbinsville, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. The driver of the Peterbilt tractor-trailer lost directional control, running off the roadway right and into an embankment, according to New Jersey State Police. There were no injuries, State Police said. The crash remains under investigation.
