MONTROSE, N.Y. -- Ken Mahoney, a Montrose native, is not a performer but he's already halfway to an EGOT.
Mahoney, president of Mahoney Asset Management, published his eighth book, "Life On Your Terms: A GPS to Your Retirement. Mahoney has won multiple Tony Awards for producing "Pippin" and "Porgy and Bess," and multiple Emmys for producing the TV show "Due Process." He is also frequently seen on CNBC and Fox Business.

Streak Ends: Northern Westchester Native Finally Loses On 'Jeopardy!'
Westchester's own Austin Rogers' prolific -- and historic -- run on "Jeopardy!" is over.
The Pound Ridge native lost on Thursday night, $33,201 to $33,150 to Scarlett Sims, a stay-at-home mom from Tennessee, ending his winning streak at 12 games and $413,000 won.
Only four other contestants in the 53-year history of "Jeopard!" have ever won more money than Rogers, host Alex Trebek said.
Rogers, a graduate of Fox Lane, got off to a rough start, losing all of his money on a Daily Double in "Single Jeopardy!" and finishing well behind Sims after round one.

Former Miss Puerto Rico Yonkers Raising Money Following Hurricane
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Layla Vazquez wants to help her fellow Puerto Ricans.
Vazquez, who was named Miss Puerto Rico Yonkers in 2010 when she was 16 has launched a GoFundMe page to raise money to purchase supplies for the people of Guyama, where her family lives.
As of Friday afternoon, $1375 has been raised by 34 people over eight days. Since the hurricane, Vazquez, a masters student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, has been unable to contact her family.
"This is a human necessity, this is human survival," Vazquez said.
