Central Avenue Lane Closures Announced In Westchester

There will be lane closures for the rest of the day on a busy Yonkers roadway as crews make emergency utility repairs.

The Yonkers Police Department issued an alert on Monday, cautioning that there will be northbound lane closures on Central Park Avenue from Mile Square Road to the Cross County Parkway.

Police said that the left lane will be closed until approximately 11 p.m. for Utility Service emergency repair. Commuters can expect delays in the area and have been instructed to seek alternate routes, when possible.
