Chelsea Piers In Stamford Seeks Teens For Counselors-In-Training STAMFORD, Conn. -- Chelsea Piers Connecticut (CPCT) is adding a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program its list of more 30 camps offered this summer. The camp will run for a July session from July 5-July 28 and an August session from July 31-Aug. 25. Available for kids ages 14 and 15, the CIT camp offers young adults a comprehensive work-place introduction under the supervision of the CIT Director and the Camp Director, Richard Grundy. With Daughter In Tow, 'The Beast' Feels At Home On Stamford Stage STAMFORD, Conn. -- Perhaps more than any other actor, Norwalk’s Kevin Thompson feels at home on the Kweskin Theatre stage in Stamford. It is his second home, and beginning Friday, he’ll even be joined by his young daughter in Curtain Call’s production of Beauty and The Beast. Thompson, a Stamford native, will play the male leading role for the production, which runs through April 29. Stamford Team Sets State Record In Swimming Relay STAMFORD, Conn. -- Swimmers from CP-AC of Chelsea Piers Connecticut in Stamford broke the state record in the boys 13-14 400 yard medley relay at recentConnecticut Swimming Short Course Age Group Championship. The relay finished with a time of 3:42.29, beating the previous state record of 3:45.25 by almost 3 seconds.
