Nunez, who was placed on leave during the ongoing investigation, quit amid the allegations that she allegedly spent some of the money for herself. She has served as the principal at the school since 2012 with a salary of $157,000, said News 12.

District school officials told News 12 that appropriate action would take place following the investigation and would not release further details. Ken Levy has been named interim principal.
