New Rochelle Cable Program Features David Lacher And Kelly Johnson

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle League of Women Voters' cable program is focusing on the community's youth.

The program "City People and Issues" is hosting School Board President David Lacher and Kelly Johnson, executive director of the Youth Bureau.

Lacher will discuss "the process for selecting a new superintendent of schools, the new common core curriculum, and diversity," according to the release. The program will be shown on Cablevision Channel 76 on the weeks of Oct. 28 and Nov. 11.

Johnson, who is also the deputy commissioner of the New Rochelle Parks and Recreation Department, "will discuss city programs benefiting young people, collaborative efforts with other groups, and the impact they have with young people over time," according to the release. The program will be shown on the weeks of Oct. 21 and Nov. 4 and 11.

Host Ina Aronow conducts both interviews for the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle. Programs are recorded in the NRTV studio in City Hall. For more information, call 914-636-6271.
