NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- A live performance will mark the celebration of Three Kings Day on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.at the New Rochelle Library.
This family program highlights the cultural traditions of Central and Latin America to mark the closing of the holiday season. Families are invited to attend and sample "Rosca de Reyes," which is "Three Kings Bread" at 5:30 p.m. in the library's Ossie Davis Theater.
Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Other events planned at the library include the following:
A chamber concert by Con Brio Ensemble will be performed at the theater there Saturday, July 9.
The trio, Alexander Meshibovsky, oboist Alan Hollander and pianist Diana Mittler-Battipaglia, will perform Bach's Double Concerto and works for violin and piano including Beethoven's "Sonata in C minor," "Seven Popular Spanish Songs" by De Falla and Wieniask's "Grand Polonaise."
The concert's suggested donation is $2. The performance will begin at 3 p.m.
The New Rochelle Art Association's annual Adolf Grant Award Show, an exhibit featuring works in a variety of media, is on display to Thursday, Jan. 7 at the library,
