NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Thomas Paine Cottage Museum will host a Colonial Fair on Saturday, April 16.
The Cottage Museum lawn will be turned into a Colonial Market Fair with blacksmiths, coopers, candle dipping, Continental soldiers and colonial songs, storytelling, toys and games.
The event will also feature a one-room school house and teacher, 18th century medicine, face painting and more hands-on activities.
The United Veterans of New Rochelle will serve hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The rain date is April 17.
Thomas Paine Cottage Museum is at 20 Sicard Ave. in New Rochelle.
