Britain's A Cappella Group Out of the Blue Returns To New Rochelle High

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Oxford University's premier all-male a cappella group, Out Of The Blue, will bring their smooth harmonies to New Rochelle High School on Friday, March 24.

The famed group is on a U.S. tour and will make its only appearance in Westchester at the Linda Kelly Theater at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be  Out Of The Blue's third at NRHS in three years. The group performed at the school in 2015 and 2016 to sold-out crowds.

In addition to the concert, Out Of The Blue will hold a workshop for NRHS students on Thursday afternoon, March 23.

Tickets for the performance are $15. People are strongly urged to buy tickets in advance at www.nredfund.org. If the concert is not sold out, tickets will be available at the door.

The performance is being sponsored by the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence and the New Rochelle Council on the Arts.

Out Of The Blue was founded in 2000 and performs an eclectic mix of songs, focusing on covers of modern rock and pop hits. A singing sensation in England, the group's viral video hits have received more than 13 million views on YouTube.

The group has performed on the West End and on Broadway, and toured the world, including Switzerland, India, Hong Kong, Japan and Canada.

As part of its mission, Out Of The Blue regularly donates to, and creates charity singles to benefit Helen & Douglas House, the world's first children's hospice.
