There will be weekday lane closures on the Cross County Parkway for more than a week in southern Westchester as contracting crews continue work in the area.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, beginning on Monday, July 16, there will be single and double lane closures on the parkway between the Saw Mill River Parkway and the Hutchinson River Parkway as crews complete construction activity.
The closures are anticipated on both the eastbound and westbound lanes. Work is scheduled to conclude on Friday, July 27.
During the scope of the construction work, motorists can expect delays in the area of Eastchester, Yonkers and Mount Vernon. While the project is ongoing, there will be detours posted and flaggers are expected to be in the area to help facilitate the flow of traffic.
