Arnold George Edson

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Arnold George Edson of New Rochelle died May 1. He was 95. 

A retired U.S. Marine major, he served during World War II at Guadalcanal, Saipan and Okinawa. His decorations include the Presidential Citation Medal and Pacific War Ribbon with three battle stars.
