Salesian Grad Alleyne Helps Concordia Men to Win

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Argelix Gil scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as host Concordia went on to a 92-81 win over visiting New York Institute of Technology in a men’s college basketball game Wednesday. Brandon Whitaker chipped in with 15 points and nine assists and Salesian graduate Jason Alleyne had 12 points and six rebounds. Lavor Morris came off the bench to score 11 points and Jared Smith had 10 points and seven boards. Concordia had an excellent game shooting from the field. The Clippers went 35 of 65 - 53.8 percent - from the floor, including 8 of 19 - 42.1 percent - from beyond the arc.
