Now in it’s fourth year and well on it’s way to becoming one of Westchester’s premier running events, the North Avenue Mile will test accomplished veterans of track and trail while giving new runners, kids and families the thrill of running in a professionally managed, electronically timed USATF-certified one-mile road race through the heart of historic New Rochelle.

Runners can compete in a number of ways; in an age appropriate competitive wave or opt in to the more relaxed family wave.

The race starts at Paine Cottage, Intersection of North Avenue and Paine Avenue, and ends at Health and Fitness Expo at City Hall, 515 North Ave.

Course information: Starting at Paine Cottage, heading south on North Avenue, it's a one-mile course past New Rochelle High School on the right and then Iona College on the left, finishing up in front of historic City Hall.

The cost of the race is $25 per adult and $15 for 18 years and younger. A portion of the net proceeds from this year’s race will donated to local charities. Online Registration: Closes Thursday June 9 at midnight. Race Day Registration: 7 to 8:30 a.m.
