NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice is undoubtedly a beloved legend in the New Rochelle community who consistently returns to his hometown to give back.
Now, fans will have a new way to interact with their hometown hero.
Rice and several other athletes have signed up to participate in Greenroom, a new website co-founded by radio and television personality Dr. Drew Pinsky that launched to the public on Wednesday. Fans can sign up on Greenroom.com to purchase live, personal conversations with Rice and others.
'’Greenroom represents a natural progression," Pinsky said. "Audiences want personal access, experts and celebrities want to monetize. Greenroom delivers what everyone is looking for."
A Greenroom host moderates all conversations from beginning to end to make the process run smoothly. Those who wish to participate need only a computer with a webcam.
Olympic gold medal track and field star Sanya Richards-Ross, Denver Nuggets guard Ty Lawson, former NBA players Tim Hardaway and Darryl Dawkins, and NFL Network’s Rich Eisen are some of the other athletes and celebrities involved with Greenroom.
