New Rochelle's Kerry Ann O'Connor Picked For Soccer Senior Bowl

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Providence College women's soccer senior and New Rochelle native Kerry Ann O'Connor was selected to play in the 2013 New England Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Association Senior Bowl.

The game will be on Saturday, December 7 at Merrimack College in Boston, Mass. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 pm.

O'Connor started each of the Friars' 18 games this season where she helped Providence to four shut outs.

O'Connor has been a key component of the Friars defense over the course of her career. She has played in 66 games for the Friars appearing in the starting line-up 61 times. She has tallied two career points on two assists. Her first collegiate point came in her freshman campaign on an assist versus DePaul. Serving as the backbone of the Friars defense, she has helped the Friars to 23 career shutouts.
