Dan Fosina, John McNiff and Chris Isidori were honored during a recent dinner. “The closest I’ll ever get to the New Rochelle Sports Hall of Fame is giving official city greetings when new members are inducted,” said Noam Bramson, Mayor of New Rochelle. “But even lousy athletes like me can still admire good ones, and I especially enjoyed the annual Sports Hall of Fame dinner a few days ago, because it gave me a chance to catch up with friends from the New Rochelle High School Class of 1987.” McNiff was the quarterback of the football team.

“John was a terrific guy back then – kind to everyone, without a touch of arrogance,” Bramson said. “And, aside from a little gray in his hair, I’m happy to report that he’s the same terrific guy today.”
