NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – After almost two months of baseball, the New Rochelle Little League playoffs are finally set. The Majors Division playoffs will take place over the next week and a half until a champion is crowned.
The first round begins Tuesday when the lowest remaining seed faces the No. 3 Red Sox at Tocci Field at 5:45 p.m. At the same time, the No. 5 Tigers will face the No. 4 Rockies at Lincoln Field.
The second round kicks off Thursday when the lowest remaining seed will face the top-seeded Athletics at 5:45 p.m. at Tocci Field. The highest remaining seed will play the No. 2 Giants at Lincoln Field at 5:45 p.m.
The championship series will be a best of three series at Tocci Field that begins June 18 at 5:45 p.m. Game two will be played June 20 at 5:45 p.m. and game three, if necessary, will be played June 22 at 5:45 p.m.
