NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - New Rochelle boys basketball team defeated Binghamton, 67-48, on Tuesday night to advance to the state playoff quarterfinal.
Joe Clarke led the hometown Huguenots with 23 points and 13 rebounds, and teammate Derrick Dorn added 15 points.
Khalil Edney, the New Rochelle player whose miracle buzzer-beater defeated Mount Vernon and has seen the video of his shot go viral around the world, scored six points.
The Huguenots will play Kingston High School Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Christl Arena at West Point where they can earn a spot in next week's state Final Four with a win.
