Joining the team in the fall will be Ricky McGill (Spring Valley, N.Y.), Jahaad Proctor (Harrisburg, Pa.), Aaron Rountree III (Wilson, N.C.) and Jordan Washington (Queens, N.Y.). The quartet joins last-season transfers Taylor Bessick (Philadelphia) and Deyshonee Much (Rochester, N.Y.) as the newest members of the Gaels’ program this year.

“The six new faces to the program will each serve a vital role in our success,” said Cluess in a statement. “Each one adds a different dynamic and we’re excited to see how the pieces will fit together this year.”

McGill is a 6-1, 165-pound, all-purpose guard who is second all-time in Rockland County high school basketball history for points scored (1,463). Proctor is a 6-3, 175-pound shooting guard who averaged a school-record 24.4 points per game at Harrisburg High.

Aaron Rountree III is a 6-8, 200-pound forward and a recent graduate of Wake Forest University. He appeared in 25 games with seven starts last season for the Demon Deacons.

Jordan Washington, a 6-8, 255-pound forward led nationally-ranked (NJCAA) Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa, in both points and rebounds as a sophomore.

Iona finished 26-9 (17-3 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) during the 2014-15 season and bowed out of the NIT in the first round to No. 3 Rhode Island.
