NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Former Iona College women's cross-country and track and field runner Maya Rehberg competed in the 2016 Olympic Games and the 3,000-meter steeplechase at Estadio Olimpico Joao Havelange on Aug. 13.

Rehberg's German teammate Gesa Felicitas Krause and all three American performers (Emma Coburn, Colleen Quigley and Courtney Frerichs) were among the 15 qualifiers for the medal heat.
