Local supporters, volunteers and leading business owners will come together on Tuesday, Oct. 14. as they toast to the beginning of fall and raise money to benefit the Healthy Habits, Career Launch, Diplomas 2 Degrees, and SMART Girls and Passport to Manhood core programs that are provided to youths by the the Boys & Girls Club.

Quay Watkins, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club, said that the golf outing will be co-chaired by longtime figureheads Bruce Daniele and Lloyd Robinson. This will be the 52nd annual golf outing hosted by the club.

“The annual golf outing is our organization’s single largest fundraising event,” Watkins said. “For more than 50 years, our friends, family members, neighbors and business community have been generous supporters of the club and our kids.”

The event will feature a barbecue lunch and a shotgun noon start. Each participating golfer will receive a gift bag and there will be a dinner presentation to celebrate both community leaders and the top golfers from the day.

Tickets for the golf outing are $450 for individuals and $1,800 for a foursome. There are still sponsorship and advertising opportunities available by calling the organization’s development department at 914-235-3736.
