2 Monroe College Track Stars Qualify For National Meet

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Two track and field stars from Monroe College in New Rochelle qualified for the NJCAA National Championships in March with their performances last weekend at the Brother Jasper Invitational at Manhattan College.

Mamadou Gueye won the long jump and triple jump events, and Tautvydas Kieras reached a long enough distance with his second place finish in shot put to qualify.

Five Mustangs have qualified so far this season for the national meet in Texas.
