This week, Schools Superintendent Brian Osborne and Ward Principal Franco Miele officially opened the doors to the new library, after raising thousands of dollars during the annual PTA-led “Read-a-thon” this year.

Students, teachers and administrators were on hand Monday for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, where Osborne and Miele offered a tour of the new-look library, which was funded by more than 1,000 elementary school students who read nearly 1.5 million minutes this year, raising nearly $44,000.
