Students From Sister School In France Visit Nrhs, Learn To Play Basketball

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Students from New Rochelle High School's sister school, the Maritime Regional High School of La Rochelle, France stopped in for a visit on July 2.

The Maritime students stopped by NRHS as they traveled from Philadelphia to New York to Boston and then to Halifax, Nova Scotia by boat.

The visiting students had one request: to learn how to play basketball. NRHS students were delighted with the opportunity to oblige and came out during summer break to teach their sister school scholar-athlete counterparts.
