NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- New York State Senate Democratic leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, State Sen. George Latimer (D-37), Assemblywoman Amy Paulin (D-88) and Assemblyman Steve Otis (D-91) join forces Tuesday for an in-depth community program and school budget discussion at New Rochelle High School.
The special event is sponsored by the City School District of New Rochelle Board of Education in partnership with the New Rochelle PTA Council.
It will be held in New Rochelle High School’s Linda E. Kelly Theater from 7 - 8:30 p.m. All school district residents, parents, students, teachers, administrators and staff are invited to attend.
Legislators will have the opportunity to discuss current economic and political challenges and opportunities affecting public schools throughout New York State, staying focused on possible funding outcomes for New Rochelle Schools.
Suyen Taylor, president-elect of the New Rochelle PTA Council, will moderate the panel discussion.
New Rochelle High School Linda E. Kelly Theater's entrance is on North Avenue at Braemer Avenue.
