Students of Columbus Elementary School and New Rochelle High School will be expected in classes on Monday, April 6.
Columbus needs to makeup for a missed day of school from Jan. 18,due to a boiler malfunction, while New Rochelle High must replace the day of classes its students missed on Dec. 16, due to emergency gas line repairs.
Also, all schools will now be open on Monday, April 27. That day was originally intended to be a Superintendent’s Conference Day.
However, that event has been rescheduled to Friday, May 22. Thus, New Rochelle public schools will be closed on that day.
Also, school will now be in session on Tuesday, May 26.
