On Thursday, school officials announced that they have launched the channel, which, while scant with content immediately, will soon be populated with videos and information, including student projects, work and announcements.

At its launched, the New Rochelle School District YouTube channel featured three videos, including a public service announcement from the high school regarding drinking and making smart decisions; the high school senior video for the Class of 2015 and a message encouraging viewers to support the Dollars for Scholars Walk that will be held beginning next week.

“Our schools are on YouTube!,” the school district announced in a statement. “We are very excited to announce a first for our community: the launch of the district’s YouTube channel. We are gradually populating the page with videos, so be sure to check it out today and come back often to see what we’ve added.”
