New Rochelle Schools Grant Tenure To 2 Principals

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle Board of Education recently awarded tenure to two principals and swore in new board members. 

Trinity School Principal Anthony DiCarlo has been granted tenure by the New Rochelle Board of Education.

Trinity School Principal Anthony DiCarlo and Columbus School Principal Sonia Nunez received tenure at the meeting.

In addition, Westchester County Surrogate Court Judge Brandon Sall officiated at the swearing-in of new board member Maddali Paci Atallah and returning board member Lianne Merchant, who was re-elected president by her peers. Board member Rachel Relkin was also re-elected to the role of vice president. Both votes were unanimous.

A highlight of the evening was a musical performance by high school senior Jorim Motley. Motley is part of the PAVE program.
