Arturo Rivera will take over the director position from John Gallagher. Rivera has 17 years of experience managing facilities for Aramark.
"We are pleased and excited to have Mr. Rivera join us and we look forward to his bringing excellence, integrity and accountability to facilities planning and management," Superintendent Brian G. Osbourne said in a statement. "I'd also like to simultaneously thank John Gallagher for his 17 years of dedication to our schools."
Rivera began his new position on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
