New Rochelle Middle School Students Attend Anti-Bullying Conference

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Albert Leonard Middle School (ALMS) Sixth graders embraced the "Don't Be Mean on the Screen" anti-bullying theme in recognition of "Blue Shirt Day: World Day of Bullying Prevention" on Monday in New Rochelle.

Students gathered in the school's auditorium filled with their own artwork for an information-packed assembly led by ALMS Principal John Barnes to learn the meaning of bullying, hear personal video accounts from celebrities about their own experiences of being bullied, and find out how to handle bullying situations for themselves or help others.
