New Rochelle HS To Host Seminar On College Admissions Process

NEW ROCHELLE, New York - The Counseling Department at New Rochelle High School will present "Tackling College Admissions - Two Important Events." High School students and their families are invited to learn about the college admission process at these two events on Wednesday and Thursday.

The first event, College Information Night, will be held on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. in the Whitney M. Young Auditorium. The Counseling Department will provide an extensive overview followed by breakout sessions that will include presentations on the following:

Finding the Right College Fit
Understanding the Admission Process at Highly Selective Institutions; and
The Public University Experience.

The second event, New Rochelle High School's College Fair, will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Daniel P. O'Brien Gymnasium. NRHS alumni and more than 100 college admissions representatives will be on hand to provide guidance and perspective to students.
