NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The New Rochelle Fund for Education Excellence recently announced the appointments of six board members.
In addition to the board members, the organization also announced the appointment of Steve Silverman as co-chair to join co-chair Meri Hilton, according to a press release. Silverman is a former senior adviser to President Bill Clinton.
"It's an honor to work with Meri and our talented and dedicated Board to develop andenhance programming for students at our award winning schools," Silverman said.
Hilton added that "parent and community participation are so important, and we look forward to growing this great program to better serve the students of New Rochelle," according to the press release.
The six new board members are Reginald Richardson, the new principal of New Rochelle High School; Todd Kern, the founder and principal of 2RevolutionsLLC; Matthew H.Phillips, a principal at Winged Keel Group; Stephanie Tomei, the co-coordinator of the Community For All Ages initiative in New Rochelle; Gregory Merchant, the president and CEO of Investment Design Properties; and Rich Bamberger, the Managing Director of M Public Affairs in New York City, according to the release.
