New Rochelle Art Students Showcased At Artists' Guild Exhibit

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Some of New Rochelle’s most youngest, most talented artists will be showcased as part of the “Young Artists on the Rise” art show at the Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild.

At the start of each year, the guild takes the opportunity to showcase the work of aspiring artists from local high schools. This year, entries will feature students from Mamaroneck and New Rochelle High School, as well as the French American School of New York

“Young Artists on the Rise” will feature 25 pieces from each school, with members of the guild choosing the Best in Show, as well as several honorable mentions in various categories, depending on the entries.

Student works will remain be on exhibit beginning on Wednesday night, through Saturday, Feb. 7. The free gallery is open from 12 to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. There will be a reception for student artists from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
