NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Learning in Retirement at Iona College in New Rochelle, sponsored by Iona College and affiliated with the Road Scholar LLI Resource Network, has finalized its spring catalog of courses and social activities for the eight-week session beginning March 4.

LIRIC, a not-for-profit organization for people of retirement age, began in 1993 as the first Lifelong Learning Institute in Westchester County.

Featured in the catalog are offerings in art, music, writing, history, science, literature, ethics and politics. A Friday lecture series will focus on “The Thirties," followed by a film series on The Male Icon.

LIRIC membership for the spring/summer sessions is $100.

LIRIC has also changed its venue for its 2016 off-campus programs. Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in New Rochelle will be the location for all Monday, Tuesday and Thursday sessions. The Friday lecture and film, as well as the hands-on computer classes, will continue to be held on the Iona campus.

To receive the spring course catalog, call 914-633-2675 or visit LIRIC on the Iona College website. Contact Kathleen Fredrick at kathleenatliric@gmail.com.

The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church is 10 Mill Road.

Iona College is at 715 North Ave.
