Colleges Closed In New Rochelle Due To Sandy

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Local college campuses have cancelled class on Monday, as Hurricane Irene inches its way up the East Coast.

Iona College has cancelled Monday classes, and its administrative offices will be closed due to the threat the storm poses. The College of New Rochelle has suspended class until Wednesday. The New Rochelle campus of Monroe College will be closed Monday.
