“We are very pleased to be a part of this great project,” said Marsha Rand, Managing Partner of Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty. “Participating in community development that provides quality housing, along with enhancements to the surrounding community, is always our commitment.”

Taxter Ridge Estates is a wooded cul-de-sac community with four one-plus- acre lots, and each home is planned to cover approximately 3,000 square feet or over. The development is located in a picturesque area and provides the lifestyle of Northern Westchester in the southern portion of the county. The development is a result of a partnership with the community and is part of an agreement that includes additional open land for parks. The land is currently being cleared and prepared for construction.

Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty is partnering on the project with Charles Pateman of C.M. Pateman Development & Consulting Corp. in Tarrytown, N.Y., who has 50 years of experience in building and development in Irvington; Erik Hansen, the site developer; and Ray Tartaglione, who has been a participant in many successful projects with Pateman and Hansen.

“This project is a partnership agreement with the community and the neighborhood,” said Paul Feiner, Supervisor for the Town of Greenburgh. “With the town having gained an acre of open space for parks and the new homes being located in a low-density area, we look forward to an increase in quality for our town’s housing market.”

“I have been involved with over 200 new-home sites, and these are some of the nicest I have ever seen,” said Alfonso “Al” Vanacoro, Associate Broker for Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty’s White Plains office. “These sizable lots are located in a private wooded setting that is unique for this area and are mostly flat with gently sloping hills surrounding them. It’s a beautiful site, and we can’t wait for buyers to experience these homes.”
