Four More Interviewed To Replace Retiring Danbury Police Chief

DANBURY, Conn. -- The final four candidates to replace Danbury Police Chief Al Baker were interviewed on Thursday, according to WLAD-AM.

Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton told WLAD-AM that the new chief will be selected in the "coming days,."

Five internal candidates and three not already in the department applied for the position, said WLAD-AM.

Baker is retiring in June.

The police chief's salary is $120,000 to $130, 000 annually, commensurate with experience, according to the report.
