Redding Man Charged With Home Improvement Violations In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. — A Redding man working in Westport was arrested on a warrant charging him with home-improvement violations, police said.

Thomas Gilliam Jr., 46, turned himself at Westport police headquarters Tuesday in connection with a complaint issued by the state Department of Consumer Protection, police said.

Gilliam was charged with violations related to home-improvement misrepresentation and home-improvement certification, police said.

He was held on $9,000 bond and is scheduled to appear March 16 at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
