CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. - Confessor Aviles of Cortlandt Manor and formerly of Ossining, died March 23. He was 80.
Aviles was born Sept. 18, 1932, in Laris, Puerto Rico. He worked for the Historic Hudson Valley and most recently at the Van Cortlandt Manor.
Aviles is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; son, John Thomas; brother, Enrique.
Calling hours are Tuesday March 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Leach & Thomas Inc., 32 State St., Ossining. Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 28 at 10 a.m. at 1st Presbyterian Church, Ossining. Burial Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
