Consuelo Tizol, 85, Post Office Clerk, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. – Consuelo Tizol of Yonkers died Sept. 8. She was 85. 

Born Feb. 7, 1927, in New York City, she was the daughter of Francisco and Adela Perez Tizol. Raised in the city, she attended local schools. Tizol worked as a postal clerk for a Post Office in Bronx, N.Y., for many years before retiring. 

She is survived by a daughter, Francesca Negron and several grandchildren. 

Visitation is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home in Yonkers. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Lothrop officiating.
