STAMFORD, Conn. - Cecile Frankel Rubin of Stamford died Thursday, Nov. 20. She was 85.
Rubin was born April 30, 1929, to Myron Frankel and Sarah Ram Frankel in Stamford.
Rubin is survived by her daughters, Karen Elizabeth Rubin, of Greenwich and Faith Victoria Rubin, of Washington; sister, Janet Frankel Goldberg of Toronto; numerous cousins; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James Elwood Rubin; daughter, Amy Helene Rubin; and brother, David Lewis Frankel.
There will be a private interment Thursday, Nov. 20 followed by a reception from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at Edge Hill Senior Living Community in Stamford for friends and family to celebrate her life. Karen Rubin will also receive at her home on Sunday, Nov. 23 from 4 to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Senior Services of Stamford (seniorservicesofstamford.org) or any of Stamford's community public libraries.
