Westport Neighbors Notes

It doesn’t matter whether you are in the little league or the big league, baseball players of all ages were out last weekend. First-time ball Duregee Tarrant and Cisco Celetto cheered their big brothers on in the playoffs. Although they lost, the Angels fifth grade team was a great example of outstanding sportsmanship and team spirit, finishing #1 for the season!

Congratulations to Coleytown D.A.R.E. essay contest winners Gabriela Vega, Ian Cooney, Nathaniel Metke and Christian Montgomery. A big thank you to Officer Ned Batlin for teaching our kids right from wrong!

Hip hip hurray for the Kings High School fifth-grade orchestra and band. Anthony Lofrisco and Geoffrey Keeton finished strong, even in the extreme heat. Great job teachers and students!

Congratulations to Westport’s most dedicated volunteers. Joanne Heller and Fran Rackson received the Westport Young Women’s League 10 years of outstanding service award on Tuesday evening.

A big welcome to the law office of Karen Wackerman Myers, LLC. Located at 191 Post Road West, Karen and her associates bring over 20 years of corporate law experience to Westport.
