Everything for Sale at Warde Flea Market

You can find everything, including the kitchen sink, at the Annual Fairfield Warde Flea Market. The market takes place on Sundays through the spring, summer and early fall from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Warde parking lot.  "We have antiques, housewares, clothes, purses, gardening tools," says Dulce Rabines, an organizer of the event. "Vendors come and people set up tag sales. We even have food stalls. On a sunny day, we have as many as 80 stalls. People come out with their kids and dogs -- it's a fun and friendly atmosphere." The flea market is a fundraiser for the Warde PTA and scholarship fund.  Space at the flea market costs $25 with no advanced registration required. Set-up time is 6:00 a.m.. Contact fwhsfleamarket@aol.com for more information. The Sunday dates for the market are: May 16, June 13, July 18, August, 15, September 19, October 17.
