$9 Million Home Sale Is Highest In Westchester This Year

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A $9 million deal for a home at Greystone on Hudson, the highest figure for a Westchester County home this year, was sold in nine days at the 100-acre private enclave in Tarrytown.

It is the first completed sale at Greystone, a project that will include 21 homes on 2-5 acre parcels.

“The fact that the home sold after just nine days on the market is an incredible achievement and is further proof of the demand for luxury living outside of Manhattan,” said developer Andy Todd of Greystone Mansion Group. “In 2014, only 19 percent of the homes in Westchester priced at $5 million or more sold after being on the market for an average of 214 days. The strong interest and quick sale of 8 Carriage Trail speaks volumes of the desire for this type of luxury community.”

After launching sales in June, Greystone Mansion Group received multiple indications of interest on the first completed home and additional lots within the 100-acre community, located just 13 miles north of Manhattan.

“These estates come with convenient and luxurious amenities typically reserved for Manhattan’s most exclusive condominiums such as 24/7 guard and concierge service,” said Barry Prevor of Greystone Mansion Group. “It’s very unique to have a community like this located only 13 miles from Manhattan with a country setting and beautiful views overlooking the Hudson River, and a surrounding area filled with historic landmarks, elite schools, and high end eateries.”

8 Carriage Trail, which is completely ready for move-in, was purchased directly from Greystone on Hudson’s on-site sales office by a top executive of a Fortune 500 company who is moving within the county.

The home has 7 bedrooms, 11 baths and 20,721 square feet of living space on 2.95 acres. Click here for the property listing on the Greystone site.

Greystone Mansion Group will begin construction on 6 Carriage Trail, a 2.8 acre, 7 bedroom, 11 bathroom property at the end of a private cul de sac. It projected to be completed by summer of next year.
