NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. ‒ A candidates forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle will take place Monday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. in New Rochelle City Council Chambers.
The evening will begin with short statements from state Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D, WF-35th District) and Assembly member Amy Paulin (D, WF-88th District).
U.S. Rep. Eliot Engel (D-16th District) then squares off against challengers Joseph McLaughlin, a Republican, and Joseph Diaferia (GRE).
This will be followed by 91st District Assembly candidates Steven Otis (D, WF) and William Villanova (R, C).
State Senate 37th District candidates George Latimer (D, WF) and Bob Cohen (R, C) finish off the night.
The public can submit written questions before the forum.
