New Rochelle Citizens Panel Seeking Public Input

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The New Rochelle Citizens Panel on Sustainable Budgets is looking for suggestions from the public to make sure that every good idea is considered, according to a city press release.

The panel was created in January to find ways to save tax dollars, deliver efficient services and discover alternative sources of revenue for the city. It has held regular meetings to gain an in-depth understanding of city government.

Suggestions can be made on a form that can be found at www.newrochelleny.com/budgetpanel

Written suggestions can also be submitted to the city clerk’s office, 515 North Ave., New Rochelle, NY 10801.

The panel expects to announce its recommendations later this summer.
