Is Trump 'Supporter' Who Called Obama 'Muslim' From White Plains?

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Days after a man questioning GOP presidential frontrunner and Bedford estate owner Donald Trump at a town-hall event referred to President Barack Obama as a "Muslim," the focus has shifted to man's identity, according to political media outlet talkingpointsmemo.com.

The first question from the audience during a Donald Trump Q&A last week was by a man who claimed to be "from White Plains."

The man, who, according to the video, clearly claims to be from "White Plains" while wearing a Donald Trump T-shirt, questioned the presidential hopeful at an event in Rochester, New Hampshire, on Sept. 17. According to talkingpointsmemo.com, there are several pundits claiming the man was a "plant" at the event.

"Inside Edition" ran a segment earlier this week in which it was noted that radio host Don Imus used to feature a character called "Bill from White Plains" who was voiced by sportscaster Mike Breen, but theories about the supposed Trump supporter's motives range from his acting for the Democratic Party to his acting on behalf of late night television host Jimmy Kimmel, the news site said.

Talking Points reporter Catherine Thompson points out that there is no White Plains, New Hampshire, and speculates that the man could possibly have been a supporter who made the journey to New Hampshire from Trump's home state of New York.
