Cuomo Brushes Off Probe, Touts Progress Made With State Contracts

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — While appearing at the New York State Fair in Syracuse, Gov. Andrew Cuomo brushed aside questions stemming from a reported federal probe, saying he's satisfied with how state contracts have been executed, according to Capital New York.

The apparent probe focuses on contacts given to SUNY Polytechnic Institute towards the building of a solar panel factory in South Buffalo.

While Cuomo didn't answer questions, he did say he was "very pleased" with the progress of the overall Buffalo Billion project, Capital New York reported.
