The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a networking reception in the Rotunda, followed by the speech at 7:15 p.m. in Council Chambers.
The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome, but seating is limited; seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This year’s location offers greater opportunity for members of the public to attend, according to a release. The State of the City has traditionally been hosted in local country clubs, the release said.
“We invite residents, students, business leaders, and community organizations to mark their calendars and join us for this important event,” said Mayors Office Executive Assistant and Community Liaison Angela Derecas Taylor.
