At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Thursday night, police responded to a Winthrop Avenue home, where they found a man who suffered a stab wound to his chest outside the residence. The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, but died from the wound at 1 a.m. on Friday morning.
According to police, one woman, who was believed to be a participant in the incident was also located at the scene, though she was not charged with any crimes as of Friday morning. No suspects are at large.
The New Rochelle Police Department are investigating the stabbing with an assist from the Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office. Anyone with information about the incident can contact detectives at (914) 654-2270.
